I lost 5 pounds on this diet last week.
I wasn’t trying to lose weight really. Amy and I went on the Ultra Simple diet last week. It’s basically meant to cleanse you of the inflammatory foods in your diet (not to be confused with the Master Cleanse). It cost us in totally about $150 in groceries between the two of us, which is a pretty average week.
I’m extremely impressed. I feel really healthy and now whenever I eat something unhealthy, I feel it right away and I think I will tend to avoid it in the future. Any time I feel like I’ve developed bad habits all over again, I think I might try the diet again and start fresh. Amy lost ~5 pounds, too.
Diet is basically limited food types (vegetables, brown rice, fish or chicken, and lactose-free fruit smoothies), increased meals to up your metabolism, and portion control.
