Groupon: Discount coupons in lot’s of cities (including NY, DC). If you aren’t getting their newsletter, for shame.
crowdspring: Matching designers and businesses for crowdsource design projects.
Green Planet Bottling: Water bottles made from plants. When I first saw the corn-made utensils at Bonnaroo and all over NY, it felt like one of those, “duh” moments.
Wood Street Farm: An organic farm build in the Englewood neighborhood (where Dr. H. H. Holmes Hotel resided from Devil in the White City fame). The farm is intended to provide job training to low-income residents and bring organic food to the Englewood “food desert.”
