AT&T makes claims for better service →
1. In September the New York metro area got a band boost with the deployment of 850 MHz spectrum at 1,600 cell sites. This spectrum is a lower frequency band than the 1900 MHz spectrum previously used, meaning it should travel farther.
Haven’t noticed any affect and any time I walk more than 4 blocks in Brooklyn I drop a call.

Papers Find Facebook Status too Risque to Print →
The Post and the Times both covered this story, about a man accused of robbery whose alibi was a Facebook status update. Both papers though, censored the update itself, which was apparently “indecipherable”. Except it wasn’t.

I just found a fake quarter in my change
I got it at lunch and only noticed when I tried to buy soda from the machine and it kept rejecting me. It’s a little too shiny, sounds clinky when you drop it, and the ridges around the outside are too… ridgy?

This is going to be was a fun weekend. Today, Tiff and I are getting mani/pedis are fun!, w00t! Yay girlyness :) Then there is the Yeah Yeah Yeahs show tonight at the Angel Orensanz center was un-fucking-believable! Followed by my friend and fellow Tumblr, Jay, playing a show with his band Venice Sunlight at 10pm at Parkside Lounge which was also really fun! Great to finally meet you...
